Ukraine has warned the Czech Republic on the principle of reciprocity with the tightening of visa processing, said in an interview to agency Interfax-Ukraine, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Eliseev.

The Czech side, we have already warned that we will act on the principle of reciprocity, that is, we will also require correspondingly inquiries from Czech citizens, - said Yeliseyev.

He also informed that the technical aspects of these innovations have the Ukrainian side is working, and after a full agreement with a number of ministries and departments on such decisions will be formally notified of the Czech side. Such a decision may take the Foreign Ministry, but in coordination with relevant ministries and departments, - stressed the Deputy Minister.

According to him, despite the fact that the Czech Republic - a friendly nation and a partner, any action which would adversely affect the rights of Ukrainian citizens will receive an adequate response from the Ukrainian side. When it comes to protecting the rights and interests of our citizens, then we compromise and authority does not exist ... And in part, when it comes to well-known medical certificate, which must provide our citizens, then of course the Ukrainian side in place and will operate mirror, on the basis of international practice. And the international practice shows that, as a rule, in such a situation, the principle of parity and reciprocity, - said Yeliseyev.

It was reported that the Czech Republic legally adopted the need to provide a medical certificate when you make a long-term Ukrainians visas. Now the citizens of Ukraine who wish to obtain a visa to stay in the Czech Republic for a period exceeding 90 days from June 1 this year, must provide a medical certificate that they do not have tuberculosis, syphilis and HIV infection. This certificate must be translated into Czech language and officially certified.
