Ukraine has received a full-fledged party to the European Convention on Transfrontier Television, the press service Natsteleradio.
In addition, the National Council of Ukraine has decided to appeal to the regulatory authorities of France and Greece to provide information on the jurisdiction of foreign programs that can be taken in the territory of Ukraine from the French satellite Hot Bird 6/7A/8, Eutlast and the Greek satellite W4 Hellas Sat 2.
Because these satellites have the technical possibility to send a signal to the territory of Ukraine, all providers of software services can take this signal. In order to determine whether the programs that are broadcast from these satellites, under the rules of the Convention, we have decided to formally countries to the owners for clarification , - explained the first deputy chairman Andrei Miroshnichenko Natssoveta.
