Japanese Automobile concern Toyota Motor Corp. plans in 2010 to sell 8.27 million vehicles, according to a press release of the company. Planned sales by 6% higher than last year - in 2009, Toyota sold 7.81 million vehicles. The volume of sales companies in Japan this year is forecast at 2.13 million vehicles (7% from the 2009), and sales outside of Japan - at the level of 6.14 million vehicles (6% by 2009 ).
Net loss Toyota in the first half of 2009-2010 fiscal year ending September 30, 2009, amounted to 62.98 billion yen (700 million dollars) against profit of 636.49 billion yen (7.07 billion dollars .) obtained for the same period a year earlier. Sales of Toyota for the reporting half-year fell by 31.3%, amounting to 8.38 trillion yen (93.1 billion dollars) compared with 12.19 trillion yen (135.42 billion U.S. dollars) a year earlier.
