A1 - mopeds, scooters and other two-wheeled vehicles that have engine capacity up to 50 cubic centimeters or electric power up to 4 kW.

A - motorcycles and other two-wheeled vehicle, which are the engine with a working volume of 50 cubic cm or more, or the motor output of 4 kW or more.

B1 - Quad-and tricycles, motorcycles with sidecar, motokolyaski, as well as the other three wheels (four) mototransportnye funds, the permissible maximum weight not exceeding 400 kg.

"The opening of the A1 category, possibly after passing through the established procedure of training in a driving school, a medical examination and obtain certificates of fitness to drive vehicles of this category whose duration is two to three years from the date of a decision by the medical commission", - stressed Alexander Karabyts.

In addition, open category A1, without training and exams can be simply exchanged their "crust" with the opening of a lower category, if a license is obtained prior to June 5, 2009.
