Tatneft and Syria have agreed on deepening cooperation in oil and gas industry
In the capital of the republic of Tatarstan met the Prime Minister of the Republic, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO Tatneft Rustam Minnikhanov with the general director of OAO Tatneft Shafagat Tahautdinova by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Syrian Arab Republic Sufyanom Al-Alao.
At the meeting the sides highlighted the fruitfulness of the visit, expressed a willingness to further deepen cooperation, including in oil and gas industry, and discussed further prospects of its development.
Syrian delegation headed by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Syrian Arab Republic Sufyanom Al-Alao visited OAO Tatneft, which took note of the innovative potential of Tatneft in oil and gas, oil and gas service, the development of high-oil, training of personnel.
The delegates met with the leadership of Tatneft and have been in the service business repair and maintenance of fishing equipment - managed by System-Service and Tatneft-Mehservis. Sufyan Al-Alao commended the company, noting that this is a very well-known company in Syria, three years of successfully operating in the Syrian oil fields. He also stressed that during the visit had been found a lot of common ground for further cooperation, particularly in the field of training, the fight against corrosion and the development of bitumen deposits.
