JSC Corporation Irkut has chosen the first-tier suppliers for a number of programs for MS-21, which provides for a near-medium passenger aircraft, with extensive performance opportunities.

Among future suppliers Irkut:



• System chassis - Hydromash (Russia);

• auxiliary power unit - Hamilton Sundstrand (United States);

• Integrated air-conditioning system - Science (Russia), in conjunction with Hamilton Sundstrand (United States) and the joint venture Hamilton Sundstrand - Science;

• The electrical system - a joint proposal of ECE (France), a member of a corporation Zodiac Aerospace (France), and the company's Hamilton Sundstrand (United States);

• Interior - C D (USA);

• Fuel system - Intertechnique (France);

• Oxygen system - Intertechnique (France);

• a system of neutral gas-sharing proposal Intertechnique (France) and Hamilton Sundstrand (United States);

• hydraulic system - Eaton (United States). In doing so, Eaton Corporation will outsource the manufacture of more than 50% of parts and components of hydraulic systems at Russian enterprises: PMZ Voskhod PWC heat exchanger MIZ Banner , Tehpribor.

For three systems the first-level Irkut chose two of the best offers and decided to continue the negotiations:

• marching engine-Pratt Whitney (USA) and Rolls-Royce (United Kingdom);

• system avionics - Rockwell Collins (USA) and Concern Avionics (Russia);

• Integrated control system aircraft - Aviapribor-Holding (Russia), in conjunction with the Goodrich AS (France) and Moog (USA), as well as company Liebherr Aerospace (Germany).

Complete selection of the three first-tier suppliers of systems are planned prior to 1 November 2009.
