JSC "INTER RAO UES and the Giro today in Moscow signed an additional agreement in 2010 under long-term inter-related contracts for the supply of electricity to Belarus and transit of electricity through the UPS network in Belarus.

Since 2009 JSC "INTER RAO UES and the Giro" at the intergovernmental level and within the fuel and energy balance of the Union State realized a long-term scheme of interaction. As part of this scheme are long-term inter-related contracts for the supply of electricity and transit of electricity through a network of ECO Belarus.

For these contracts, JSC "INTER RAO UES exports to Belarus 3 billion kWh of electricity is guaranteed in accordance with the balance of the union state, with an annual coordination costs and schedules and up to 2.5 billion kWh of electricity on the basis of commercial viability in the monthly (daily) to harmonize rates and volumes of supplies of electricity. In the current year, as in previous years, is expected to transit supplies, including through a network of ECO Belarus, the Kaliningrad power grid and in the Baltic countries.

Within the framework of long-term scheme of interaction of the tariff for transit of electricity through a network of ECO Belarus is proportional to the price of electricity is guaranteed delivered JSC "INTER RAO UES" in Belarus.
