During January-December 2009 the enterprise group ChTPZ - Chelyabinsk Pipe and PNTZ - consumers have shipped 1 million 131 thousand tons of pipe products, which is 23% less than 2008 results (1 million 474 thousand tons), the report said ChTPZ.
In 2009 OJSC "Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant" has realized 583 thousand tons of pipes. Annual shipment of JSC "PATH" amounted to 548 thousand tons. Among Russia"s consumers shipped LDP than in the previous year by 16%. More than 20% increase supplies for export. Thus ChTPZ Group is implementing a strategy aimed at increasing the shipments of products with high added value, the message says.
In December 2009, total shipment tube mills ChTPZ Group has more than doubled - to 125 tonnes - compared to the same period in 2008 (54 tonnes). The growth of shipments at the end of the year occurred primarily in the segment of large diameter pipes (in December Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant started the production of pipes for the project "ESPO-2" AK "Transneft").
